These paintings are looking at the formation of the pack ice in Antarctica, and the abstract and apparently patterns.

These are landscapes about water and waves

They become light and texture

     Almost diaphanous on the canvas

My landscapes are about the layers in the landscape - layers of time and the physical layering in the landscape. The linear format is normally horizontal but sometimes vertical. Sometimes I put animals and birds in to the landscape, but there is no place for people in these pictures, even if their presence is indicated. ​
